getting settled
whew.. this has definitely been a roller-coaster for me these last handful of months. here’s a recap of what has gone on.
may: graduated from isu! 
DD
june: moved to chicago (well skokie, but same thing =P) for work
july: visited my baby! XD –and towards the end began looking for another job in seattle
august: continued my search for a job –then WAM BAM BOOM! interviews left and right and whaddya know.. a job offer! DD
september: cross-country traveling with my main cuz, talk about a 30+ drive!
october: had my first halloween with him, what a night; of which i will never forget
which brings us to november. so, i’ve been in seattle now for two months and things are starting to pull together.
- my commute is awesome (since i am in the reverse traffic) no more bumper-to-bumper traffic for me!
- i found a carpool buddy, even better since i can sleep on those hour commutes every other day =P. and not to mention the monies i save in gas and tolls
- projects at work are starting to run to me and i <3 being busy
and most of all, i’ve been cooking more! –well he helps out a lot with that, but man i have no complaints to home cooked dinners. so much better than going out all the time, although it’s nice to on the weekends!
whew.. i never thought that i’d be here. well, at least not this soon anyways. and you know what? i couldn’t be any happier
